I would have to think Buffalo is on Johnson's no go list. That aside, an Eichel trade is sooo difficult. The cap hit is tough in this environment, and it's hard to give up those kinds of assets. MacK and Jack would be a helluva fun one two punch to watch though.

I dont see the match bw the Avs and Sabres, they dont need Eichel, as they have a game breaker 1c IN mackinnon, and they dont have the cap room to make this work, plus when you consider giving away Newhook and Byram on their ELC, (also EJ has trade protection he would never waive for Buffalo)

This hurts the avs as they would have to dsimantle their roster to make it work, 1 step forward 2 steps back type of trade
