He's a stand-up guy.

A legend with a ton of character and a touching life story.

He's only on a one year deal, only costs a million and can play on either wing.

This is the same Bobby Ryan that Brian Burke drafted 2nd overall, right behind Sidney Crosby.

He might even be placed on Crosby's wing.

I'm sure Burkie would love to have him on his team this year and make a cup run.

I think Detroit could get a 2nd without giving a pick back or at least giving a lower pick back but looks decent to me.

It's certainly meaningless that he was drafted 2nd overall. It's what he can do now. If I'm the Pens, I would not let Burke have any say in player personnel decisions. Let him be a media person for the Pens, something he likes to do.
