Montreal rejects easily and there's no way Nash retains 2mil for 4 years

Not a chance Edmonton does that. Arvidsson for Neal straight up they'd consider, but you aren't getting their #1 forward prospect for him.

Leafs say no thanks. Would much rather have prime Nylander over aging Ellis. We don't really need another RHD now anyways

EDM adds Turris and Kassian, or NSH declines.

Honestly as a Habs fan I like this maybe take some more salary like Kulak and I’d be good to go, a change of scenery might well do the trick

After letting Markstrom and Toffoli go for nothing, if Vancouver GM loses Pettersson, I think fans will burn down the city of Vancouver

What would they have to consider if NSH offered Arvidsson for Neal? The quickest way to get Neal on a plane out of here?

The fact that they're getting a RW for a LW (LW is a position of greater need in Edmonton), a guy who produces less (Neal has 21 goals / 36 points in 66 games this year and last, Arvidsson has 17 goals / 35 points in 75 games), a tiny guy who can't play a physical game (5'9 / 180 vs 6'3 / 212) and a guy who is owed more money ($15.6M vs $15.3M).

If that's your logic, NSH has a left-shooting player with a point in every game he's played so far, that only makes 750K. Just give us Yamamoto (and a pick, to make up for the salary and PPG difference), and Sean Malone is yours!

There's absolutely no correlation between my scenario and yours. I'm not going to explain all the differences since you're clearly not bright enough to have an intelligent discussion with.

Don't be rude. You posted a brutally bad take that deserved some gentle mockery. Own it, and learn from it.

I posted a bunch of reasons why Neal has more value to Edmonton than Arvidsson. You don't have to like it, but it's true anyhow. Keep overvaluing your garbage and you'll keep getting garbage results from your garbage team.

Reasons like Arvidsson is owed 300K more, without mentioning he has more term on his deal? Your logic is worse than Neal's contract. I thought we were joking around at first, earlier in this thread. Then you got hostile and irrational. Whatever it is in your personal life that makes you like this, I hope it gets better for you.

I only posted that because people like you think Neal is a cap dump and Arvidsson has value. But when you realize that Neal is actually the better player AND he's owed less money, it discards that line of thinking like an old rag. You can cling to it if you like, but nobody is taking Arvidsson without a sweetener.

Arvidsson is better, younger, makes a mil less cap wise, signed for more. multiple people will disagree with you. take the homer blinders off
