As an ANA fan I have to testify that there has to be one major piece of value added at least, I’m maybe trim down on some of the other items, what that item would be idk, probably at least a Gibby, Lindholm, Zegras or Drysdale

Mr. "Its all about winning" can kick rocks. I can't wait wait him go to go FA and talk about wanting to win, only to sign w/ Detroit or Ottawa laugh

That's nowhere near enough for Jack Eichel, Heck Detroit could beat that offer.

Draft picks mean nothing to Buffalo, cant rely on them to fill out the value of the trade, let alone be the main piece

Guys a clown, loved him as a Devil but his actions completely contradict his statement. If he wanted to win he'd sign a 5x6 with a contender

I'd have to say it starts with Zegras, trading a high end center with no replacement would be as stupid as trading your 2C (ROR) with no replacement. You can't weaken the center position without having an option either in place or one coming in return...JMO

The Sabres don't need Ned. Once Mrazek is back the Canes should trade reimer and go with Mrazek and Ned. Staal is useless to us given our current center depth. I like your thinking with bringing Staal back for a cup run and have him retire with the Canes, but we don't need him as our 4th Center, so I'd have to say no deal. Overall I like your retool and I think it can really benefit the Sabres.
