Nashville is not being fleeced like this. To get Ekholm it would cost the 1st, Bear and a prospect. They could go 1st and Broberg or get a prospect like Lavoie or Mcleod

I may be the only Wings fan who does not want to let go Glendening. He is great on faceoffs, good defensively and a perfect 4th round center who can take important face offs and slide around if needed. Alot of Wings fan's bag on him here but he fills a roll that not players on this team can. Even if resigned I believe he has a roll on this team and he serves it well. I would rather him then some of the stiffs on this team and what Wings have had in the past.

Neal's buyout is worth it, I think. Yamamoto would be perfect for this team.

I want Yamamoto too but giving up Palmieri and Wood is not worth it. Our team would be so soft. Gusev (Extension) and a second for Yammato and Neal

all three trades won't happen at once, all players acquired would have to quarantine for two weeks making the roster bare for those weeks

I actually think Gusev would do well in EDM's middle-six.
If I were Oilers, I probably wouldn't go after him at deadline, but would look at signing him in off-season.

DET: Jones is a promising young defenseman, Glendening is an old 4th liner. No reason to make this deal.

NJ: This one is closer in value but I don't want to lose Yamamoto, he's easily the best player in the deal.

Overall you've made the team worse now and worse in the future by trading 3 promising young players for older guys who won't be around for long. There's no reason at all to make any of these moves.
