Coming In: Dumba with retention
Going out: Saad, 2023 1st, 2022 3rd, B-/C+ prospects

Is that a lot? Yes. However, that means that for Seattle, the hawks protect the 7 F and 3 D

(2) games against TBL (2) games against the Panthers (3) against CAR. Let's play the harder teams in our division before we start buying. AND even then...it should be a hockey trade vs picks/prospects.

Palmieri deal is probably a no-go. I'd ask for more, but know that Hawks are selling their future right now.

I have two complaints on that Dumba trade:

1) It looks like you have played NHL Franchise Mode before. In there, it might be possible to get a quality player like Dumba for a bunch of crap, but it does not work in real life. You'll have to give us quality over quantity.

2) A pick in 2023 is... odd. GM: s don't want to wait for that long until they can cash in on the trade (who knows if they even have the job by then). Make it 2021 or 2022 instead.

Even if the Hawks win more games then they loose against Florida, TB, Dallas, and Carolina, they should not be going after a top line RHD with Mitchell, Boqvist, Murphy and Regula soon to come. There is just so much depth on the right. De haan is definitely not a 1st liner, on the best defensive teams he's a 3rd liner so therein lies our weakest point is a first line LHD. Going after someone like Lindholm would make a lot more sense given he's a rental.

It's going to take a lot more value than that to get Dumba with 2.8M in retention. You're offering nothing.
