This leaves Carolina in a pretty bad spot. You will be forced to expose someone in that top 6 or Hertl. I think this team has done really well. Dont think a top 6 guy is necessarily a necessity, let alone 2.

nah its typically fluery or bean playing with him but i wanna see a more evenly dispersed D core so gards gets shafted into playing right D

oh ok. I'm not a Canes fan but I don't wish ill will on them either. Forcing him to play his off side seems like a really good way to give up goals though.

true which is why i put him with slavin. i think gards/pesce is a good pairing but i don't know if i want fluery with hamilton. would be interesting tho

Hertl would have 25 in the same situation. You cant base an evaluation on 18 games

Yep that's a great trade for SJ. Necas, Suzuki and Jarvis would be awesome for our rebuild. The two firsts is awesome as well. No way we decline this IMO.
