My guess at our lines vs Toronto

Description
It sounds like Turris is likely ready to go. Tippett played him at wing a few games ago so I could see him playing there again. I know he's been bad defensively and barely scored but I figure he'll be in the lineup anyway. If he's not ready it'll be P. Russell in his spot

On defence, I'd expect Russell to be out for a game because Tipp liked how Jones played, and he penalty killed very well. I figure Jones and Bouch will stay as a pair and Bear will play on the left side with Larsson. The Jones and Bouch get sheltered minutes so I'd expect they'll stay together. Bear and Larsson can log big minutes

These games against Toronto are extremely important which is why I’d strongly consider keeping Russell in over jones. Not sure I’d say jones played well last night was ok but made a few poor decisions along with a few good ones just very fortunate smith played extremely well which covered up some of the things we can’t really afford to do against the leafs.

Jones and Russell both bring more than what Turris does. Turris is soft, slow and has missed his man in front of the net on several occasions, which have led to easy goals. The Leafs are too good to allow stuff like that. Just roll 7 dmen again.

For sure I’m ok keeping turris out of the line up rest of the year. Really really don’t like what I’ve seen of him. Liability far far far more often then not

I'd rather Nygard over Turris as well. I don't think Tippett and Holland are ready to give up on him though. I'd be surprised if he's consistently a healthy scratch/taxi squad guy

Tipp likes to use Larsson's pairing in a shutdown role. Unless he's regained full confidence in Jones's defence I'd expect Russell to swap in for Jones (Russell - Larsson) if we run Bouch - Bear. Bouch with Bear wouldn't surprise me I hope we see that
