I like all your trades, I don't see why either team does the Pearson/Raanta trade though. A much simpler Pearson (w/retention) for a pick is probably more realistic.

Literally zero reason for EDM to spend assets for Jordie Benn. He's a pylon and we literally have better players than him who can't make it into the regular rotation.

Jake Virtanen would fill a need though, what would you say is realistic coming from EDM to acquire him?

Benn to Edmonton was a strict depth move, that trade can pretty much be to any team but I chose Edmonton because they were in the Canadian division. As a Canucks fan based on the Virtanen Heinen rumours I would think they want a player back of similar calibre. Canucks would also like to clear Virtanen's cap off the books so maybe a player like Khaira but there likely would be a plus from either side.

Elliotte Friedman reported the interest from Arizona in a potential Pearson trade and with them being somewhat of a poverty franchise I could see them wanting to unload salary while staying competitive. Adin Hill is more then capable of taking the backup role behind Kuemper. With the salaries evening out I can see the Canucks getting a better haul of picks.

Left shot or right shot, Benn plays both sides
