Damn I think the Jets could use a large mobile dman to add to the group, not even if van looks like a sinking ship? There is a bit of a shortage of the rhd large mobile dman in the league, would be nice to snag one with some term for Winnipeg’s hole, might be getting ahead of it, but with the right guy I think this squad could do some damage, possibly even a trip to wcf or cup

I wouldn’t mind waiting to see what we have in Heinola and Samberg. I think Samberg is the big, mobile, physical defender we have been waiting for.

I just think the window is right now with the way the divisions are set up, edm/tor gauntlet is a easier gauntlet than the col/stl/dal central run. With any luck and other past playoff experience and depth, there’s a good chance of getting out of the division. Then there’s the Vegas/col/stl battle to get to the cup. But ya looking forward to heinola and samberg
