Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The 1st line has been one of the best in the league , but the 2nd line needs to get more ozone time. I’d rather have MDC than bailey on the 2nd line because When MDC is on the ice the isles generate a ton of high danger scoring chances

Eberle’s 1st year with the isles in 17-18 he was just as good as barzal. He had a tough time adjusting to trotz system , but last year he figured things out and had a 1st line impact. He’s gotten even better this season.

I think it was trotz who said lee lost a few pounds and worked on his skating to become more deceptive. He looks like a different player this season. Obviously his contract won’t age well, but for the time being he’s living up to contract.

I mean I’ve been of the opinion his contract won’t age well too but if wahlstrom pans out on the path he is now at the worst case you’re looking at a guy in Lee he’s gonna bury a vast majority of wallys rebounds obviously will never be a line driver but I think the contract still has potential to age fine now

Fair point - it’s impressive that he added other elements to his game at his age. So far he’s been one of the best offensive wingers in the league this season. On pace for 39 goals (82 game season) and I’m pretty sure he’s top 5 among forwards for expected goals %
