Tampa's not trading Sergachev, but if they did they'd want Walker

Turcotte is good but Sergy is almost un-tradeable at this point

I'd do this trade in a heartbeat. I wouldn't exchange Clague for Walker, or even Roy, as suggested above, but I would add another one of our high-level prospects like Anderson-Dolan, Madden or Thomas.

TBL needs to move salary in off-season, so maybe then.
Cannot imagine they'd to it this year.

What’s with the trades for sergachev and turcotte lately? Did I miss something about both the guys or is it just an idea that caught steam?

I wouldn't add any more tbh. Clague can go right to their 3LD spot and do a good job and we all know Turcottes value and potential.

There's a rumor that the Kings want a "dynamic LD 25 or under"

I don't agree with it though(assuming its true) we could use a more experienced and good defensive LD to play with Doughty, but we need a dynamic RD 25 or under, not a LD. Roy is doing a good job, but he isn't a #2 on a contender(when we are) and he won't be the guy to replace Doughty some day.

I suggested Ekholm and Fabbro and it got mixed reviews.

Tampa probably don't do this trade this year as they have cap room But your trade idea is good for the summer. As much Tampa fans think their NTCs contract can be easily traded with little cap being returned, your idea of a Sergachev and his contract being traded is more realistic.

There's a better chance of a foot deep snow storm at Staples Center or Amalie Arena than JBB trading Sergachev

Oh, you Tampa fans, think McDonagh, Johnson, Killorn, Palat can just disappear. Tampa was "saved" this year 9.5m Kucherov on LTIR.
We'll see how this wiggle out of the cap 21/22.
PS. Well Houston, didn't think there were going to get snow this winter....so maybe it's Tampa's turn.

I was joking the snow in Tampa. Heck I think Tampa gets less rain days than I get snow days, 90 miles north of Toronto.
