Fixing Everything

Created by: TheAlien
Team: 2021-22 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 27, 2021
Published: Feb. 27, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
New Management Structure:

President: Linden (If he wants to come back)
GM: MacFarland
Assistant GMs: Brackett, Futa, and Luongo (If he wants the job)
Head Coach: Brind'amour or Gallant
Assistant Coaches: Burrows, and two other people
Head of the Goaltending Department: Clark

Expansion Protection List:

Pettersson
Boeser
Miller
Horvat
Gaudette
MacEwen
Lind
Schmidt
Mayfield
Juolevi
Demko

With Holtby, Beagle, Luongo, and (most of) Eriksson coming off the books after the 2021-22 season they would have the cap space to add a high-end winger or a top pairing RD. So, if they play their cards right they could enter the 2022-23 season as legit Cup Contenders.

Y’all got a weird obsession with Mayfield as a top pairing d when he can look lost in the the 4 spot for extended periods of time

Detroit will 100% protect Stecher, Detroit probably protects Cholowski, Hronek and Stecher.

It has more to do with taking a flyer on him, it's not like there's anyone available who would be much better

Nope Stecher is better then Lindstrom and brings a little bit of offense to his game.

Fair enough it doesn't really change much to the team

Good luck convincing Edler to waive. He doesn't want to play anywhere besides VAN.
