Not even in the ballpark for Jack Eichel, probably any deal for Eichel starts with Charlie McAvoy for a starter.

No, not close
Even though he’s “unhappy” we’re losing, he’s still under contract for 5 more years
So we’re in no hurry to accept an offer where you’d get him at a deal
Plus about half the league will be bidding on him

It’s gonna take Carlo +++
And that’s if we’d even consider trading him to the Buins,
& there’s a good chance we wouldn’t

Boston is better off waiting to see if Barkov hits UFA after next year. Cost no assets and imo Barkov is a better all around player.

Maybe
Point is.... whoever trades for Eichel is gonna have to pay up to get the Sabres to even think about moving him

No, Eichel wanted out, and after this year it isnt going to get better.
Buffalo is gonna need to see that they will have to discount A LITTLE BIT or nobody is gonna take him until he becomes a free agent or declines to play for the sabres
In saying that, the bruins are not the team to trade because they dont have the right pieces

Sure, but same thing -- they don't have pieces they can give up to get Eichel. Their prospect pool is too bare to have any advantage over other teams unless they're offering McAvoy or Pasta -- which they won't.

I dont disagree. Right now Buffalo has zero pressure to trade Eichel. Next year maybe a different story though

Just try and remember what you got for ROR, who... went on to Win a Cup, it turns out it wasn't his fault.

You will end up with something similar to this deal, maybe not from the the Bruins, but some team, It almost as to happen because of salary, or if a Guy like Pettersen or Aho wanted out.

True
But at the end of the day- even if Eichel asks out- we still have him locked up for a while
So the choice is ours

Full NMC kicks in after next year, at which point Eichel calls the shots on a trade. Does that mean Buffalo has to trade him? No, but what organization wants to keep a guy around who wants out? At least if they move him before his NMC they can take the best offer. If they wait till after they may only have a few teams they can negotiate with.

Sure. Who knows how big Eichel’s list would be?
Probably big enough to still get a great return-
otherwise just keep him
Bc i don’t wanna see him leave anyways

Its not just the size of the list though, its also who can handle taking on his cap hit lol. If he's unhappy in Buffalo and wants out, why would you want that guy being the captain of your team and the "leader" of your locker room? Are you going to strip him of the "C" because that's not going to do anything but piss him off even more. Are you going to bench him? He won't do you much good sitting up in the press box.

No, it’s not who can take on the Cap hit
That’s just dumb
The Sabres can take salary back

Teams will be more than happy to rearrange their salary structure for a player of Eichel’s caliber

U wanna worry about what the list MIGHT look like in a few years? Fine, go ahead
As for all your other questions....
that’s all above my pay grade.
Too many ppl are acting like he’s already requested a trade outta here

I’ll worry about that WHEN- AND IF- it actually ever happens
And if it did....
I’m not worried 1 bit what we’d get back for him
It will be A TON

But hopefully we don’t even trade him

You're right the thought of McAvoy is joke cause that wouldn't be close either.
You are absolutely wrong about eichel not being in that category.
McDavid and MacKinnon are clear cut above the rest.
Next tier would be drai eichel Matthew's point and schieffle.
Eichel is 24 under contract for 5 years. Don't compare to ROR this situation isn't remotely close. And neither are the players.

Eichel won't be traded for anything less than a potential replacement and some secondary pieces. Boston does not have anything remotely close to fit that mold. They won't want current players and won't want defense they have their #1 they will work around with dahlin. So why would your 1c return a #2 dman. It doesn't make sense.

I think I have been more than reasonable with the prospect of trading eichel but please not even adding your beat prospect is an insult
