Pretty solid deal for Hertl tbh I would strongly consider that package. You can retain 50% on Hertl and on Marleau as well if it makes the cap situation better as well. But honestly as much as I love Patty, I don't think he's gonna be a guy who's gonna be a game changer for the Leafs and breaking his iron man streak probably isn't a great idea either. Probably better off letting him retire in SJ. Plus we don't want Vesey lol

The preds deal is a bit too much for a year and a half of Forsberg. The Hertl deal could be simplified without Marleau. If I was to make an offer on Hertl it would be hirvonen amirov and the first. We have plenty of center prospects and still pretty few Rd prospects so I wouldn't want to move niemela

Sharks accept but it's highly unlikely Wilson ever trades Hertl. If it happened though, I am more than satisfied with Amirov and Topi. I wanted both on the sharks in all my mock drafts last year.
