Description

Just spitballing an idea. Skinner has the chance to rebound on a new team (again) that could use some more offense. Karlsson could be valuable to mentoring Dahlin and an off chance he could find his form again. Salary retained only to swap cap hits. Anything to add or remove that would make it more fair if it were to happen?

This makes no sense at all for the Sharks. Let’s try it in reverse, Vlasic for Skinner with $2M retained to even out the salaries.

Point taken - just thought this made some sense as they have the exact same contract length and, while Karlsson is the better player, Skinner is only 28 and has exponentially more of a chance of turning things around over the length of their contract.

I'd rather keep Karlsson for his zone entries alone than move him for a near completely useless Skinner. Karlsson, despite his struggles is still easily the better player.
