I don’t think signing hall to an 8x8 is a great move. Already committing to an absurd contract with skinner (not saying this contract will be that bad) but things could go even more south for a long time. Especially if eichel does decide in 2 years he wants a trade it could get ugly with those contracts.

I think that you're overvaluing Jake Virtanen. Scuttlebutt is that we're getting him for Dan Heinen and some draft exchange(s). Mattias Samuelsson is overkill.

What are you talking about? Youre trading Mitts to get rid of two more years of 6 million dollar contract. Cap space is the most valuable asset. Period
