Description

Connolly played some of his best hockey under Trotz. Sneaky good two-way goal scorer having a tough time producing this season. Not a sexy add, but he's better than Komarov and will be used more than Bellows would. This way, neither team gains or loses that much cap space and gets back a piece they can utilize in a more effective way.

So weird what's happened to him this season. He's been great the last four years, with his production exploding in the last two, but this season he gets off to a slow start and Florida is done with him. Not sure what's going on there, but hopefully their loss can be another team's (the Isles'?) gain.

Connolly is strictly a shooter, maybe he wasn’t put with line mates who can get him the puck.

If Ebs wasn't playing so well, I wonder if you try him with Barzal. Doesn't really have the speed but he can score in so many ways, kinda like Lee

He is electric. He just seems to get better every game. Underrated playmaker as well.

I cannot wait to see him with barzal....Give me a beau-barzal-wahlstrom line. The other team would never have the puck. btw I think beau is going to be a star. Reminds me a bit of mangiapane, he has such a complete game.
