I don't think it helps the Habs as much as the OP might think. This proposal trades away the only Montreal goalie who is actually making saves.

Once Ullmark comes back, they'll have to scratch hutton, so I don't know why buffalo would need Allen unless they're giving up another goalie, but If I were buffalo I'd take that.

All Detroit is getting is 2 cap dumps and those picks cover that but not Mantha. This makes Detroit older but thats about it.
