Not bad value for Eichel, but I don't think the Kings should do it.

Skinner has a no movement clause, the Sabres have no choice but to protect him. Seattle is not trading for him either.

He may just want out of the **** show that is Buffalo. Ultimately he controls where he goes but he can't be happy with his situation in Buffalo.

They asked him if he wants out, he said no so fast it was like he didn’t have to think about it. Which is fine because nobody is trading for that contract.

I'd be surprised that you'd want Alex Iafallo because if there was ever a safe off-season prediction, it's that Iafallo would walk.

he is from buffalo and a good bottom 6 guy, so there is a chance. also they could just flip him after a quick talk to see if he is interested in extending.

pretty sure they can just waiver him and see if he gets claimed or not before sending him to Seattle. also some times nmc have windows where you can trade the player like what happened with burgland and st louis.

I find it very unlikely that Skinner would be waived. Berglund had a Limited no trade clause, which included a list of 10 teams he could decline trades to. St. Louis used a brief window of time when he was updating his list to send him here without his permission. I guarantee Buffalo would have been on his no trade list if St. Louis had allowed him to submit an updated list. A no movement clause means exactly that, no movement without his permission. There is no flexibility there. Short of putting a gun to Skinner’s head he’s going nowhere unless he wants to.

Adams points gun at skinner; sign this piece of paper or play for a last place team where the fans hate you.

I don’t think very many Sabres fans hate him. Right now many more of them hate the coach for generally being clueless as to who to play with whom, and who should be scratched and who shouldn’t. Hire a coach who has a clue and you just might do a little better.

i dont think they really hate him more so his contract, it looks like it may prevent teams cap flexibility for years to come.
completely agree any coach who talks about staying the course on a last place team doesn't know what's up.
