T.J. Oshie has 14 points in 20 games this year, and is playing a little bit at center. Similar cap hit. One more year of term. Better at faceoffs. Better corsi. More hits.

Right. Add in the COVID quarantine and you knock out Canadian teams. I just don’t see anyone giving up real value without knowing the direction of the cap

Plus his contract. He's going to be a UFA after next year. Teams would rather have a guy on a cheaper and longer contract.

You can go ahead and take Dallas out of this ACGM. They aren't giving up a part of their young core for a guy that is a soon to be UFA, especially considering the fact that Dallas is not competing for a Cup this season, or possibly for the short-term future. They could very realistically miss the postseason this year, so trading Hintz for a guy that's not going to help them get into the postseason is a non-starter for the Stars.
