He played good last year but is off to a bad start. I would say he would be good for what Keefe would want on a checking 3rd line.

Acciari has not even had a bad year. He has done exactly what he is supposed to do: be a grindy bottom 6 player who can play D zone and penalty kill
The goals were just a bonus last year. I don't think that I would want to trade him, he fills an important niche

He is an average 4th line winger. I would replace Vesey with him but he is not as good as other 11 players. And you did that for 2nd round pick? Thats just bad..

Vesey is likely the odd man out once the lineup is healthy, so just move him to taxi squad and save the draft pick. It's a coin flip if Acciari would bump any of the depth players for a roster spot anyways.

Leafs are likely trading for a 3C in-season which might very well be Staal.. and even without that, he is not better than any of the starting 12 when everyone is healthy. He is simply not. His highest point total he had without last year was 14 points.. thats 4th line numbers no matter what. His unsustainable shooting percentage from last year is not staying there and this year we can see it very well. He is a fourthliner who I would probably trade Vesey and late pick for but not much more.. he is 13th forward on Leafs.
