Is this the plan with Stalock claimed and fully healthy

Created by: Oilyboy
Team: 2020-21 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 1, 2021
Published: Mar. 1, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
When Lagesson is off IR, I would waive Turris over Chiasson or Khaira. A replacement vet RHC of better defensive fit than Turris could be had at the deadline for fairly cheap likey. Can also still move Neal pretty freely for when Kass comes back, a claim would be a gift anyway lol.

Lagesson would go in before Bouchard or Jones on left side. Jones and Bouchard don't penalty Kill.

Fair enough. Wasn't necessarily forming the lines here. Just looking at the overall 23 man roster.

Lagesson is hurt right now with a jammed wrist.

Jones is in tonight according to Yaremchuck on TSN1260.

Playing the hot hand in a 3 goalie rotation wouldn’t be the worst idea for Edmonton.

It's Bouchard with Bear, KRusty is out tonight per Jason Gregor.

What does that even mean?

Smith has been lights out since he came back off injury and before that Koskinen started like 12 games in a row and acquitted himself about as well as Carey Price.

IMO Lagesson is competing with Russell more than Jones.

All I’m saying is that Koskinen & Smith haven’t been known for their consistency, so when Smith falls back to earth they have other options. With 3 goalies there’s a better chance that at least 1 of them has the hot hand at any point.

I’m not trying to make fun of the Oilers, I say this as a person who is cheering for the Oilers (except when they’re playing the habs Sticking Out Tongue).

Not having a 3rd certainly hurt them early in the season. It wouldn't hurt to get one now even though both guys are healthy, because you just never know. I'd prefer to trade for a guy who has already cleared waivers, but that doesn't appear likely this season.

I think Tippett's preferred 2nd pairing is Lagesson-Larsson. The others fight for the remaining 2 Spots when he's in.

Jones-Larsson seems to be a better pairing than Lagesson-Larsson or Russell-Larsson: NST

They've been a little unlucky (.853 on-ice sv%!) but that blame should be shared as Larsson had more than his fair share of early season wobble.
