Going to have to give up more than that if we want to move him. Jone's isn't enough incentive, and he might end up available in the expansion draft anyways. Look at what teams gave to vegas to dump contracts when they came into the league

Stalock has value and a good contract. Based on what Vegas did it would take jones and a first to move Neal i'm hoping Stalock reduces the Pick.

The buyout for Neal after this season is actually not too bad -- I think that's the way to go.

You have $7.5M in cap space, why are you paying to get rid of Neal? Hold him another year, then if you have a huge need for the cap space you can buy his last year out at $1.9M (or trade him with 1 year left at $1.9M retained).

If klefbom comes back it all goes to hell again.

Stalock was a waiver claim so his value isn’t high. Jones will already be exposed so his value is irrelevant for this exercise so that leaves a waiver guy and a 3rd for Neal. Seems a bit light.

have you looked at stalock's stats? I'm not sure why they waived him.

Stalock was beaten out and extremely inconsistent. He's been in the league for awhile now and i'm sure their GM called others to see if they can net some picks but obviously chose waivers which tells me other GMs are coughing up much as his cap is moot.

      This year.

Leftover $6.4mill in cap space hopefully goes towards taking Klef off LTIR. Maybe also a small upgrade at 3C. I feel like the top 6 forward we sign likely gets a 1-year deal. We don't know how much of a raise Nurse, Pulju and Bear will want the next summer. That may limit who we can sign. Getting rid of Neal is huge

In my eyes got three options on how to handle neals contract.
      1- tough it out
2- trade with 1.9 retained equal to buyout but less term
      3- buy out
Paying to remove his contract will prove to be a huge mistake
