Always liked Larsson, but he's been really quite poor last two years. I'd steer clear of him. Maybe he needs to go play at home to reset his career.

McDonagh: not a fan of any > 4 year contracts of 5 mil plus AAV, especially for someone of his age. History shows this will likely hurt you. Looks to me you're really targeting Foote & the pick more so than RM .... Im assuming you looked out ahead & NJ won't need the money to resign all their RFAs, before RM expires. If that's the case, I get it. If not, maybe hold on to your cap, I suspect NJ will need it in 3 years

If Coleman wants to return, LMK & Ill help him with the move. He'd be a great example for the youngsters to emulate. Not sure where values are this UFA season, but I like you kept it < 5 years. Smart.

Sadly Holtz not looking good lately ... Im guessing both he and Mercer are still another season away. They could both use some time in yhe AHL ... playing against pros (Mercer) / North American rink (Holtz).

Like the post ... thanks

All valid points. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out. Hopefully one of Holtz or Mercer is ready for middle-6 minutes next year. Not really expecting both.

Yeah only thought was that its so close to NY where he might still have friends/family/a home. That said, don't even know if that contract makes any sense for NJ anyways even with a good package attatched.

That would be spectacular, but Im not expecting it either. Maybe an AHL stint and mid season call up? I think that could be realistic for one of them, if they really kill it. Im more hoping Foote is ready for next season. The other two arriving in NJ would be gravy.

Also hoping at least one of Walsh, Bahl, Okhotyuk or one of the Russians are ready for third pair minutes next season.

And a ping pong ball win for Edvinsson or Power (Though I wouldn't cry if they got Clarke or Hughes too).

Man, I hope these guys pan out.
