Description

This team looks juicy. Buffalo gets Lafreniere to build around. DeAngelo has great offensive upside so let's see what they can do with that. He basically was a cap dump for the rangers.
Howden should become a reliable middle 6 fwd I think. Lundqvist is a really good prospect he is a potential top 2 d-man him and Dahlin would be a great swedish pair to have.

It is edited so Rangers are selling high on Mika but hes not going to Buffalo he would never waive to go there.

Columbus center depth actually looks intriguing. I think torts could appreciate Mika's 2 way game and he has the size and physicality aswell.

With Roslovic and Zibanejad Domi could play on the wing now which he should do.

I would rather give Schneider or Lundkvist in that trade and take some other piece off, also Chytil has more value than Zibanejad

Rangers are not going to ask Zibanejad to waive his NTC and would be wise not to resign him for more than 5 years. Even if it means letting him walk away when he's a UFA.

Columbus loves Bjorkstrand and he is their 2nd best forward (he also leads the team in points) and Bjorkstrand just signed a 5 year extension worth 5.4 per year.

So for Columbus is 1.5 years for Zibanejad worth 5.5 years of Bjorkstrand? Hard to say as Mika would be the type of player Columbus needs as an actual top 6 center but if he walks as a UFA you traded one of your top 5 players for him.

Domi has also been playing wing most of the season anyways leaving the centers as Roslovic, Folingo, Jenner, Stenlund, Texier and Nash.
