Lindholm would be awesome but would probably cost too much

Lindholm is gonna need a big return. Potentially a 1st rounder + mid-tier prospect.

Dobson and your 2021 first or Wahlstrom. Or maybe Wahlstrom and your 2021 first.

as much as I'd love a lottery protected first, Edler isn't worth that. Aho and a 2nd works pretty well for both teams I think.

It would prob take Wahlstrom+ and I’m not comfortable doing that

Yeah a player like Wahlstrom is almost exactly what ANA needs, he would 100% be the targeted prospect imo

like ive said before, it isn't worth trading for a big name defenseman. Leddy has been playing well and there are plenty of D available that would be an upgrade over greene - shouldn't spend more than a 3rd rd pick on a rental D.

If it were up to me I’d probably just play Aho, but if they wanted more of a stay at home guy I’m sure there’s plenty of cheap options available. But, if Lindholm is in FA in 2 years and we have the cap space, he’d be a fantastic fit

I’m sure he would but he’s probably untouchable tbh. He’s definitely the type of player the ducks need though. Perrault has the potential to be like that tho tbh, I’m still super high on him

Yeah Aho deserves a shot but that’s not happening. Mete,Merrill, kulikov etc..

Lindholm is very good but he’ll be 29 by than. Well already have pelech and pulock on contracts taking them to their 30s. Need to have a good mix.

Hopefully by the end of next season the top 4 will be :

Pelech-Dobson
Salo-pulock

Oh and he 100% should be, Isles shouldnt be paying a premium to upgrade LD theyre fine as it is there.

Im a huge fan of Perreault, hes looked good in the AHL this season

I’m against a big name dman too but was more curious on price and if they could get him to fit well I do think a move like Edler would benefit the team tho since aho clearly won’t be getting looks I’d cap the trades at like aho + a 2 if we’re being realistic for what they should do

We would have to get rid of a bad contract to fit Edler. Not worth it IMO.

If they retain 2 mil they can make him fit without a move if they manipulate the cap properly (asking a lot to waive Ross I’m aware)

Lol yeah, Lou and trotz won’t waive Ross even though there’s a 0.1 % chance he gets claimed
