This is why I want to resign Palmieri and keep Zajac.
    Needs righties and vets.

Resign Palmieri for 3-4 years. In 2 years, Holtz will pass him. In 3 years, Mercer will pass him.

    That would be ideal
Mercer has been lighting it up in Q since their break. 2.0 ppg
He could be interesting call-up too once their season is over.

Lohrei has been a monster this year and in 6th in USHL scoring....as a defensemen.

    Don't rush them.

    Future top 6 could be
    Hughes-Nico-Mercer
    Bratt-Zacha-Holtz

Zacha, Bratt, and Holtz might have unreal chemistry since they have the same trainer and train together

And USHL is much better league this year with all the new CHL and NCAA kids.
Lohrei is big dude too. But skating needs work.

RW in NJ & its pipeline has been a weak spot for years.... hopefully Holtz & Mercer change that in a few years ... but they definitely need more pieces this draft. Organizational depth is just not there on the Right.

Interesting, didn't know those 3 trained together. Still have a hard time seeing NJ giving up on Hughes at Center. I wish I knew what Fitzgerald was thinking about Zacha & Hughes positionally

Im not sure about Zacha, but they do have the same trainer. Holtz and Bratt definitely train together. Maybe a lineup of

    Bratt-Nico-Holtz
    Zacha-Hughes-Mercer

Sure, Any combo of those six, slotted in those positions is enticing. I hope they pan out ... will be fun to watch.

Sadly, while Mercer has been up, Holtz has been down. Hopefully they both start next season in the Bing. Id like to see them in NA professional league. Believe Mercer will be 20 next October.

His skating is actually one of his stronger areas and a big reason he's done well this year (also has a good set of hands). He's a converted forward and needs to keep working on coverage and just overall play in the d-zone as a defender more than anything.

Dylan Guenther, Chaz Lucius at RW in upcoming draft...love 'em both.

    Sounds good to me.
Zacha, Mercer as wings would mean our 3c (McLeod, Sharangovich, etc) is working out well.

    Zacha - Nico - Bratt
    Foote - Hughes - Holtz
    Johnsson - Sharangovich - Mercer
    Wood - McLeod - Thomspon
    Kuokkanen - Gritsyuk - Clarke

This is exactly my thought process with Palmieri. But you'd have to find an AAV you can be comfortable with him as a 1RW, 2RW and eventually 3RW.

I'd be happy with another RW as their top pick, but Im really hoping they get a shot at Edvinsson, Power, Clarke or little brother Luke. Most likely unrealistic unless that ping pong ball falls right.

Gritsyuk plays center? I thought he was a wing.

Swap Lohrei with a 2nd. Langenbruner was nepotism pick like Fitzgerald before him so might have to swap him out to. Clarke maybe.

That’s way too much for Murray you’ll get a third round pick. Lohrei is too valuable and Langonbrunner has family connections and probably won’t be traded

I'd think Langenbruners would be OK with the destination here
    Who is Clarke on Boston?

The only Clarke tied to Boston I can think of is Cam. He was a 5th or 6th rounder back in like 2016 I think. Never side with the Bruins and laat I knew he was playing in the ECHL. Pretty sure he's a FA at this point.

    Power left of Walsh

If they get Clarke, put him right of a big guy like Mookie or Bahl.

Not sure who would play right of Hughes, but who cares ... just get him.
