They need to get vesalainen and gustafsson playing, Harkins too but he might be hurt idk. They should be resting that 4th line, put in vesalainen and Gus at least to see how it goes.

I’d like to see Niku in again tonight, beaulieu needs to come out he’s just awful.

The way I see it I think the most optimal lines we could put together right now are:
25-55-26 (They started playing pretty good when put together)

81-13-27 (Also did pretty well together and I think they could be lethal if they could get going)

85-17-22 (This line was very good and I have no clue why Maurice broke them up)

93-9-23 (Paul isn't going to put Ves back in but he should)

44-2 (It is still the most stable option we have unless if we call up Ville soon.)

64-3 (Maybe leave 8 for 3 if he continues to do well)

I disagree. I don’t think there’s much to both lines as they are right now. Don’t like either tbh. They just don’t work.

I’d personally like to see that first line but I have a fear that it would leave the 2nd line not being able to score. However, I think they still can. I really want Maurice to at least give this a try.

As for JoMo demelo, I understand why Maurice doesn’t play them together so I won’t get after that. Makes sense what he’s doing and poolman has been passable while healthy

Niku should have stuck, I really liked that niku-demelo pairing

That fourth line is useless at even strength. They spend more time in the defensive zone than any other line, they just can’t get the puck out.

The jets should make a move for Bennett. I’d be willing to move harkins for him seeing as Maurice won’t play him.

Agreed, I’d love a move for Bennett. Stastny is starting to slow down a bit, could use a guy like Bennett to take his spot. That at least pushes one of the 4th line guys out. I know we’re winning tonight but there’s so much we need to fix if we even want a chance in the playoffs.

As for the blank, I’d personally like Vesalainen or harkins but probably claim a good defensive forward with some offence off waivers.

Oh 100% same. I’m not confident at all in this d. I would go for a guy like savard or ristolainen first. Then make a move for ekholm. That would round out the team nicely.
