Description

Stauffer hinted today on oilers now that Barrie might be traded. That would be great, imo he is a net negative everywhere on the ice, and has inflated points from playing with 2 of the best players in the world on the powerplay

Minne would be about the last team to trade a first for Barrie and that doesn't get Forsberg. Neal's value being in the negatives tanks the deal

In what world diid you think this was reality? This proposal is beyond comical on every level. Tyson berry isn't good & won't play on wild.

Good laugh though. No we don't, because slowly wild powerplay has started to connect with kaprrizov, fiala, Matt dumba, zuccarello, etc..

This is the most unrealistic proposal on here & funny ...

Yeah those are great for us but terrible for the other teams. One of the first basically counters Neal to even it up, so ur basically trading laggy and a 1st for foresberg which isn’t even close.

I don’t see us getting foresberg with the cap hit he has and how much space we have a guy like Neal would have to go but the assets we would have to give up to get rid of Neal plus match foresbergs value is just way to much for us to give up.

We are better off going after a guy like Rakell not having a great year but has proven to be a top 6 guy in the past and playing with mcdavid could boost his confidence back up. Plus his trade value will be down as he’s fallen off a bit the past couple years, he would be a much easier target to go after.

As a Nashville Fan:

I don't hate the idea of having Neal act as a placeholder if Forsberg gets traded. That said, one of those 1st is for taking on Neal's contract leaving the cost of Forsberg as a 1st and a AHL dman which isn't close.
