These are the convoluted idiotic trades I keep seeing that have Eichel's value unrealistically high. The trades make ZERO sense from the perspective of any team that is involved other than buffalo. If there is a trade to be made, it will not be a loss by buffalo, but will also not be a grand slam fleecing like many are suggesting, in my opinion. After looking at a lot of trade proposals and the ridiculous packages, that strip the teams making the trades, and people's comments saying that more needs to be added is kind of laughable. This trade represents those ridiculous expectations of those in the comment sections.

Something like Kempe + Byfield + Walker/Roy + 1st is what it would take. Not saying LA will do it, just showing the value

I don't think the trade happens until the summer anyways. My personal belief is that Gorton wouldn't part with Laf and Kakko yet. I think Gorton is content to not make the trade if Buffalo isn't satisfied with what he has to offer

I think both clubs should just stick with their rebuilds and not bother trading for Eichel though.
