Description

I am not a fan of Buffalo or the Rangers, so I am submitting a deal that I think is far for BOTH sides.

Additional Details:

Rangers get a top 10 center in the NHlL and could easily be top 5 on any team that isnt Buffalo. Lets face it, hes defeated in Buffalo and wants to make the playoffs. Eichel will either have Panarin , Laf or krieder on his wing, making him already in a better situation. To make things better for the rangers, theyll have a deadly one two punch up the middle with Z working the second line. Hutton is sent back as a back up for the rest of the season until they can find a new back up in the offseason.

Additional Details:

This deal for Buffalo sends former 2 second overall Kaapo to the Sabers, but I dont think Kaapo's ceiling is anywhere near as high as Eichels. Georgiev is sent over for some stable goaltending for the Sabers will Ullmark out. Deangelo is going to Buffalo for two reasons, cap and I think he lowers the vaule of the deal. The Rangers clearly dont want him and I am not sure the Sabers do either. Both 1st and 2nd round picks will be next year, when the rangers will be arguably much better with Z getting back on track and Panarin being done with fake allegations.

I dont understands Rangers fans when they say they wont trade any of Laf, Kak, Fox or Miller.... like those are the only things that Buffalo would want LOL

Also a non-Sabres, non-Rags fan.

No need for Georgiev there. He's about as league average as you can get. Making him a focal point of an Eichel trade, with the reasoning being "He can hold down the fort until Ullmark gets back" is bad business.

Because Kakko hasn’t shown a lot at the NHL level. Also they don’t really need anymore defenseman. It would be risky to gamble on Kakko because his floor is really really low.

I think that's the risk you've gotta make though if you're Buffalo and intent on moving him (I also don't think they should move him, so there's that).

I do get quite the hoot out of seeing the "We want Eichel, but we're not giving up any of our top 7 or 8 assets". Makes me smile.

I see one where you put Zibs, Miller and 3 1sts, where two Sabres fans who are more anti-Eichel trade than anything else are the only two who commented negatively? Is that the one you're talking about? To be fair, everyone was against everything in that trade

I don't know...to me, K'Andre isn't a guy that the Sabres really need to focus on in an Eichel trade, and Zibs walks after a year anyway. Value is probably there, but again, Laffy or Kakko.

This isn't enough at all. D'Angelo is worthless, Kakko has not shown he is even NHL worthy yet, goalie prospects are goalie prospects, and that first will be mid to late.

And then build from there.

Don't you think Buffalo need anymore defenseman? I disagree, they're terrible in the defensive zone

They are fine they don’t give up high quality chances. Having McCabe out for the year doesn’t help things though.

they are likely gonna get picks and a couple known prospects so like chytil, Kravtsov and two first or something like that they arent gonna get more then 4 1sts rounders value
