It makes more sense for them to sell most of those pieces (excluding Hall and Staal since they're UFA's) next year so that the picks are 2022 which should be a better scouted draft and a more talented draft overall. Would be a mistake to sell the other guys now and get all the picks in the 2021 draft.

I agree 2022 picks will be worth more better chance of scouting just figured this gets into system quicker a year ahead but either draft year works for this

Ya wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen however doing so now like this rid themselves of lucic before expansion draft all in one shot and provides the option to offer an 8 year deal depending on his contract gets structured

In all honesty I’d probably trade, Nuge, Bear, Broberg, Lavoie, 2 firsts, a 2nd, Samo and maybe my left nut for Eichel and Dahlin together, a Dahlin-Bouchard future pairing would be more tasty than a Broberg-Bouchard. Like Josi-Weber type of tasty

But Strome?? uh no

I had a tough time with that wanted to include Edmonton in someway just for fun. I don’t mind strome as 3c considering he was ok in that role before but would have better line mates this time. The retained money on Neal I’ve already regretted putting there that would be a deal breaker in my opinion. Considering strome is a reasonable guaranteed upgrade over turris and cap being swapped is upgrade over Neal puts the team in much better position for next year.

Not really between those two deals end up with 3 good to very good defensive prospects 2 firsts and 2 seconds and 2 thirds plus goaltending prospect plus a couple warm bodies overall I’d say came out pretty good for two guys outside of their respected draft pedigree haven’t actually done much.

The Eichel trade would put the Rangers over the cap (assuming it's done as is with no retention).

Take out the 3rd Rounders. Add the Rangers 2022 1st, Kravtsov and Georgiev.

While the Rangers can definitely pull off a deal without giving away their prime pieces, the Sabres will get more than this proposed deal.

The Sabres won't get the sweetheart deal that their fans are drooling for, but it will still be a substantial package.

Then we don’t move Eichel

We’ll get A TON for him
MANY teams will be bidding, and this offer is a joke
You changes make it a bit better,
but still not close

Lol don’t see Buffalo getting much if any better. Eichel is a 10 million dollar player that’s been around awhile now with zero personal awards zero playoff experience really not sure why think commands more

I’m not sure there will be a ton of teams looking to out bid that offer. Keep it in perspective it’s a 10 million dollar player that’s been around awhile and accomplished absolutely nothing. Zero personal awards zero playoff experience he’s proven to be good but nothing about his resume suggests great player thus far really don’t understand how can justify any more than this.
