    He’s been fighting for the first spot since December baring a serious injury he won’t fall out of the top 5, and LA can’t fall any lower in the awful division

    It's not just the division, though. They may or may not fall below Anaheim or San Jose, but there are teams in the other divisions they may fall behind in the overall standings. That'll affect their draft position.

    Either way, if the Kings can get any one of Hughes, Edvinsson, or Wallstedt, I'll be a happy Kings fan. And I think they'll be in the range for at least one of those three. All it takes is one or two teams picking a forward high in the draft, which is a very real possibility. I personally think the Kings have overachieved thus far this season (which is great to watch, don't get me wrong!), but I too think they'll regress a bit.

    I’m mean I can’t see San Jose or anahiem passing them and noway they do worse than Ottawa, detriot or buffalo

    Points-wise they're still ahead of teams like Calgary, Nashville, Dallas specifically that all have a chance at passing them overall.
