I don't see the Devils moving Bratt and a pick unless it's for an upgrade at the position - so Guentzel - which doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh.

From the Kings’ perspective, this is an overpayment. I don’t see them targeting Petterson anyway. Admittedly I don’t watch a lot of Pens games, but he doesn’t seem to be that shot generator and playmaker that the Kings want to pair with Doughty. It sounds like they swing for the fences for guys like Sergachev or Chychrun, or they just hold off with what they have.

Petterson is a second pairing LHD. The Kings already have several of those. If they're going to give up assets for a LHD, it's going to be for a top pairing guy.
