GMs and coaches love him. He'll definitely fetch at least a mid round pick.

They've been trying to trade him for years, hes really bad and old. If some gm wants to get totally ripped off im sure they will, thus the good luck.

are you nuts? Glendening is an AHL level player. He can be replaced by almost anyone in any org's system.

Lucky to get a 5th for him.

honestly I have been debating to post a glendening trade. While Spezza has worked alright on our PK, taking a faceoff than running to the bench sometimes has proved costly. Glendening on the other hand kills penalties and would be a solid 4th line center for us. Pus he is a FOW machine

Dude you do understand that Glendening leads the league in Face Off % Correct? Plus he's a solid PK guy yeah he would easily get a 3rd round pick.

Where you coming up with this crap that Detroit been trying to trade Glendening for years? First off you're wrong he's only been linked to Toronto because of Babcock trades were never serious Detroit wasn't going to move Luke until his final season. And that's laugh that he's really old and bad. Got news for you man Luke leads the league in face off percentage and is solid on the PK and people who know more about the values of players then you do say that Detroit will easily get a late 3rd rounder for Luke especially if they trade him at half for $900,000.

he's literally been in the "trade deadline adds" for years but sure whatever. I got news for you, faceoffs mean literally nothing when you are as bad as Glendening is after the fact. He's one of the worst players in the league at maintaining or gaining puck possession and no, he's not good on the PK.
And people who know more about player values than you say Glendening wouldnt get future considerations if detroit could make his cap hit 10 dollars.

you're out of your mind. This year he has been very good on FOs but he's mostly around 55%. Plus that stat is so subjective it doesn't matter.

I'd be surprised if there was any interest at all.

No we haven't, He's only basically been linked to Toronto due to the Mike Babcock factor.

I've been playing close attention, Reports were that Toronto were the only team that had strong interest in Luke. The rest were just asking about him. But this year there's a lot more interest in him then other years.

No we haven't. Teams kept calling about him offering 4ths and 5ths at every deadline and Ken Holland and Steve Yzerman told where to go because those are garbage offers. Listening to offer is quite different than trying to trade him.

neat, im excited for stevie to extend him to help make the wings awful for longer after this season because if teams were offering him 4ths and 5ths before, they arnt going to change their minds and offer more now that he's older and worse

Yikes https://tipofthetower.com/2019/02/10/toronto-maple-leafs-reportedly-interested-luke-glendening/. Now I don’t think Glendening is worth a second round pick myself but “good luck getting a 6th” is hyperbole and dumb
