toronto wouldnt give you a 2nd for Glendening if it magically gave them 900k in cap space instead of wasting it

Toronto are serious cup contenders this year. LGD got a faceoff win percentage of 68.4% right meow. next closest guy is Bergeron at 63.0%. He's the best in the dot by a huge margin in the league and a great penalty killer. I think most teams who are serious about a cup would want this guy. Toronto's 2nd will be very late, basically a 3rd. It's very much LGD's worth at the moment.

Then I wouldn't be trading with Toronto. Tampa paid a 1st round pick for Barclay Goodrow last year. They know what's up.

Too rich for the bruins on both deals. 10 points in 24 games for Mantha aint getting you that.

except outside of faceoffs he's one of the worst possession players in the entire league and no, he's not good on the PK. He's awful very very very awful and the Leafs would know that. If Lou or Burke was in charge you might have a shot but no, the leafs wont have any interest in him.
No team who is in anyway intelligent will trade anything for him, your best bet is to find a dumb GM like Benning or whoever who has no idea what he is doing that is desperate to make the playoffs.

Barclay goodrow is one thousand times the hockey player that Glendening is.

Completely different situation.

No, the leafs are not serious cup contenders.

I’m pretty sure all of those are turned down.

Goodrow got a first because his contract was a steal for the type of player he was. He was good at both ends, could provide physicality, play on any line. Glendening is just a strong defensive 4th line center nothing more.

A 3rd at most is his worth

So does Detroit Studnicka would be 3C in Detroit and we already have Veleno or Rasmussen to fill that spot, Smith is a mere cap dump and Boston's 2021 1st round pick is late we'll just keep Mantha if that's all he returns.

i have no idea why people think Glendening is good defensively. He isnt, he is really really really bad at it.

The Lightning, the Blues, the Capitals and the Penguins didn't held McDavid pointless three games and won the Cup, what's your point? Win a round. Until that, they're not serious cup contenders. They're in a division with a bunch of mediocre teams and they should have their current record.

He's a -2 on the Detroit Red Wings and has 7 points. Meaning he's been on the ice for only 9 goals against this year at 5v5...on the Detroit Red Wings. Playing 14 minutes a night. nuff said.

if smith is a cap dump what does that make mantha. they are scoring at a similar rate but smith is way cheaper.

Smith isn't a cap dump. It's a salary transaction. Mantha is 26 and smith is 31.

plus minus is the least meaningful stat in the NHL and he's getting a hilarious on ice save percentage (IE the goalie is bailing him out every single night) while he gets absolutly destroyed by shots and chances against even relative to the players he is on the ice with.

Toronto will be in the final four. They're way better than all the North Division teams. Once in the final four its anybody's game with Toronto, Tampa, Boston/Washington, Colorado/Vegas

Please provide your in-depth analysis sources.

All I've heard from you is FO % and +/-....pretty weak sauce

Maybe you'd like to include Pierre McGuire or Kevin Weekes' in-depth analysis
