None of these deals are enough to get it done.

I don't know. Apparently the Bruins can add 15 million in cap at the deadline. No idea if true but I 've heard this somewhere. If not Buffalo and Columbus retain?

Don’t see much of a reason for Columbus to make that move. Kase would be a 3rd line wing for us at best and Savard has been our best defenseman and is our most value trade asset at the deadline. If anything Columbus would move Savard for a middle/top 6 center (adding a bit to Savard obviously) or for a B/C prospect (who’s exempt from expansion) and a 2nd. Not sure Boston would pay that price for a 3rd pair RHD, but someone (Toronto or Philly come to mind) might.

I know Debrusk is having an off year but he's a 2nd line LW and Beecher has good upside. I guess Nashville looking for a 1st round pick also.

Sabres are talking extension with Hall's agents already, it will take more than Bjork and a 2nd

I could us trading hall then signing him again. I would like the trade to be

Hall (50%)
Thompson

For

DeBrusk
Frederick
3rd

Lol the only place you'll see that is right here in your post. That would be an awful deal for Boston.

Absolutely would be looking for a 1st round pick. DeBrusk is definitely a level below Forsberg, Beecher is no sure thing. Am sure Nashville fans won't think even that is enough. Team that gets the best player more often than not is seen to win the trade. Low ball offer won't get it done.
