Montreal just paid a 3rd and 7th for Allen, he is now the league leader in save percentage (Prior to yesterday's games where it slightly dipped) with a .955% and we signed him for half of the money of his current contract.
-You're not getting him for a 4th rounder mate.

I don't see why we'd want him in 22-23 for free, he'll be 32 going on 33 and goalies don't exactly get better with age...

It's 2022-23. Price is not going anywhere, Primeau will most likely secure the backup spot. Allen will be 32, pending UFA. At best Montreal gets a 3rd.

I like this, although that's far too much for Bert and Hronek, and hope they go somewhere else in the draft.

Barkov is such an underrated player.

I don't think it's too much, as Bertuzzi is a heart and soul guy to keep around, and it buys Hronek prime years at a relatively low cost. It seemed expensive at first when Theodore, Andersson, Pesce and now those contracts are steals.

What position would you like to draft?

I hope (and am confident) they go D, but I like Power or Edvinsson.
