Beck's been a beast in Chicago, unexpectedly so. This was a really good scouting find by the Wolves brass.

Wow, this guy really climbed the ladder out of nowhere to win himself an NHL contract. Undrafted in the WHL, he only played 11 WHL games before his 18 year old season, played 3 years in the WHL before getting an AHL contract, and played his way into an NHL contract this year. Great story.

He's been doing great in the AHL. Even playing better than Helvig. He was a nobody, but now he's making a name for himself. Excited for the kid. The way he's playing now, he could play in the NHL down the line. Once we get M.Staal, E.Svech, and E.Staal, we can get his brother, Luke Warm.
