Leafs can't do that cap. Jarnkrok is not needed, Two top prospects who are going to full time Leafs next season 1st for 1.5 years of Forsburg, too pricey for the Leafs and I suspect any team.

I truly think Robertson will be elite, so I can't do this. If you'd be willing to swap him out for Amirov + a pick or something, I might consider, but even then I'm not sure we need another pure skill player like Forsberg at the expense of our future.

Prospects I don’t see making available liljegren, Sandin, Robertson, Amirov.

That said... every other pick and prospect would be up for grabs for a player like forsberg. Trade would probably have to include kerfoot for cap reasons. Which in itself might not be the smartest idea.

    Kerfoot
    Hirvonen
    Niemela
    2021 1st
    2022 2nd
2023 3rd upgrades to 1st if leafs win the cup in either year

    Somewhere in that ballpark anyway.

Every team declines so heavily weighted in NSH favor. But specifically that Avs trade is awful. Why in the world would they want Ellis when they already have Makar, Girard, Byram, Toews and Barron and Helleson in the pipeline.

Your asking prices are very high but you have two players the oilers would be very interested in if willing to be more realistic with returns. Ekholm and Forsberg obviously oilers wouldn’t do both but either one of them can make a lot of sense
