Under normal circumstances I’d say zero chance Sabres will trade hall retained for that package. Issue is, these aren’t normal circumstances. Hall only has 1G all season. If he doesn’t get going fast, Sabres should expect an underwhelming return like this

Any team Hall goes to though will likely need to be retained and as much as I’d love to see him moved fora first, the reality is the Sabres will struggle to get that in return. A couple seconds is probably more reasonable

Halls analytics have been amazing this season so I’d take him on my team. But I would give up a 2nd at most.
