Toronto has issues keeping pucks out of the net not scoring goals. So, lets bring in a goal scorer who doesn't know there's a defensive end of the ice.

Dude, what? Leafs are 4th in the league in GA/GP. Have made huge strides in their defensive play.

Are you even watching Toronto this season? They've been very solid defensively, 9th in shots allowed, 11th in expected goals against, 12th in corsi against. These are their metrics in the north division which people essentially call the reincarnation of 80s hockey. TJ Brodie and Justin Holl have done what Cody Ceci and Tyson Barrie couldn't do. Are they elite defensively? No . But I think they would prefer Bogo's physicality considering physical hockey in your depth has proven itself to be a winning strategy recently. I do not see a real need to add a defenseman on this team. I dont exactly agree with Taylor Hall on JT's wing, considering how good Simmonds was when he was there. But if theres a setback in his recovery, Id rather have Hall than Kerfoot.

Im not saying add a defenseman I'm say adding very defensively responsible fowards like Tampa Bay did with Coleman and Goodrow last year Hall definitely imo isn't Toronto's need

While I agree Toronto doesn’t need hall, but Taylor has been pretty good defensively this year. His defensive play has been underrated through out his career just by looking at his analytics.

I understand what you are saying, but its also important to recognize that Mitch Marner and Auston Matthews are both playing like two-way gods. Mitch is on their PK1 and Matthews is trusted enough out there when he kills them. Its not the safest thing in the world to have Marner on the PK, especially in a potential playoff series vs Montreal where a Shea Weber clapper can end his season, but this team is not lacking in defensive forwards

A massive overpay for player who is just average. I don't see how Kerfoot for Hall straight is good for the Leafs, considering term and the quarantine period.

You know the person lost the argument when they resort to name calling. Bless your heart

Except his argument is actually backed up by statistics, unlike yours which is merely based off of narratives that aren't accurate this season
