Does Sid not like Zucker or something?

No Pens fan on here ever seems to want to put the two together. Geno and Zuck's haven't seemed to mesh very well and Zucker has arguably played better when paired with Crosby, so I'm not exactly sure where the disconnect is.

If I were Sullivan I would flip Zucker to the right side on his off wing and play him opposite Guentzel with Sid in the middle. He's better on the left, but is still solid on the right.

I know he's injured right now, but in general this is what I would do, I also but haven't heard anything on a timetable on when he'll be back.

they aren't pulling Jake off his LW, and I think the goal in trading for him was to give Malkin a better winger.

I was saying to keep Jake on the left as the 1LW and play Zucker as the 1RW opposite him, and have a top line of Guentzel-Crosby-Zucker. But it was just a thought.

IIRC, I thought I remember they wanted Jason in order to play with Sid. But that could of just been until Jake was back from injury though, so who knows.

I don't think they can just give the best two wingers on the team to sid. I don't think it works that way.
I think Malkin was already PO when they took rust from him considering Malkin spent so much time working with him. Kind of why he ended up right back on his wing.

What's wrong with duo McCann + Malkin? I like him there more than Zucker.

inconsistency. Given he was only 23 last year but that was the issue there. He would be there for a long stretch and then disappear for a long stretch.

Fair enough. Let's see if he grew a bit from last season. I really hope so. Now it's time to prove himself.
