Bruins have to feel that Kase trade sucked. If your flipping him for a fourth when ANA flipped him for some good pieces its gonna sting.

Yeah, but at this point he's a player thats not playing. He's not THAT good either, so he's not really going to fetch much back. Could be the add to the meier trade i was talking about.

True, injuries hurt man, they can really Frick up ones career, I saw a lot of potential in Kase but injuries hurt him.

Even if Kase doesn't play again for Boston, they still got out from almost all of Backes contract

Yeah thats a plus, but still Kase can be a good player for the Bruins, but he got injured now it looks like an overtrade.

Not at all. That's one of the few good trades by Sweeney, you can't control injuries. Bruins gave up the 1st to ANA to take Backes so it's basically Andersson for Kase (which imo is better for the Bruins), Andersson will probably be a 3rd pair D, maybe low-end 2nd but right now, Kase helps more than Andersson.

I agree, I meant if the B's trade Kase, I would keep him and see if he still can be a top 9 winger.

I don't see a reason for the Flyers to do this. It's a fair offer, just doesn't make sense.

This is an easy no!!! Meir start with your 2022 1st, and a 2nd plus a a/b level prospect.
Not a late 1st in a weak draft a 4th line player and a D prospect who will never play in the NHL for a 24 year old power forward with a 30 goal campaign on his resume.

Meier for DeBrusk and 2021 2nd. They were both in the same draft class. Saves you $. Draft capital you don't have this year.

I'm not even going close to those contracts. Big terms, and the only need out of them is vlasic, (LH) and hes got 7 mill. No way in hell
