Wrong year, and choosing a pending UFA (Montour, Gustafsson, Savard, Martinook, Cizikas, Saad, and Janmark would be a waste of picks). I would pick someone with term. Anyways, I think Seattle will get more of those unproven young players to take a chance on ex. (Evgeny Svechnikov, Caleb Jones etc.)
1) Ron Francis drafted both Fleury and Bean while he was in Carolina so in my view he is 100% taking one of them from Carolina.
2) Team is really weak at center ice so I wonder if they would take Nugent-Hopkins or Stastney if they were willing to sign extensions?
3) Doesn't look like you took 3 goalies and that is a requirement
4) As noted, you have the wrong year here so many of these guys are UFAs and not really good ones that an expansion team would choose.
5) If you could get the Blues to give you something to not take Sundkvist I'd say you take it and then take a Dman. They have Parako, Krug, Scandella, Dunn and Faulk. Getting one of those guys plus a sweetner for not taking Sundkvist would be perfect for Seattle.
The problem with selecting UFAs is that it's odds-on that your top 4 free agents (Saad, Janmark, Savard and Montour) will sign somewhere else, and then where are you?
