Kadri and a first!? First of all, if the leafs trade a first round pick they will never hear the end of it, and second of all Babs love Naz so this is crazy.

Leafs have cap room next year and especially in the following year. Why make a lateral trade for a Dman? Leafs have leverage in the summer to buy one.

I don't get why these Hamilton trades keep on resurfacing. Aren't there any 29 teams Hamilton can be traded too. Leafs probably aren't interested his play and certainly not his pay. Flames have apparently three top Dman, Brodin, Gio and Hamilton and the Leafs have a terrible defence. Flames are one point ahead of the Leafs in the standings (assuming they all played the same number of games)
