Hardly seems worth it for the Leafs. Granlund is a ****ty center, hes like Kerfoot and does better on the wing. Trading a top 6 winger with term for a top 6 rental is kind of a side grade at best. Ekholm you are paying the lions share for to use him for 3rd pairing minutes and guranteeing you lose him or a top 4 defenseman in the expansion draft.

Theres no value here.

What's so special about Granlund? To think he can parachuted in the Leafs lineup....in a couple of weeks in place of Kerfoot rely defies logic.
So now your talking about the Ekblom for the two picks and Lehtonen. Nashville says no, but I don't know why the Leafs would target a LHD
