Value-wise, Werenski + a 1st is a good start, but if I'm Buffalo I don't necessarily salivate at Domi right now. Not saying he doesn't have value, but I would be much more intrigued by one of Merzlikins or Korpisalo. Still think more may need to be added (not a Sabres or Jackets fan, so I'm kinda just spitballing), but Werenski, 2021 1st Round Pick, and Korpi/Merzlikins would get them to pick up the phone and discuss.

Sabres decline. Not for a defender as a base. PLD+ could be the answer, but you no longer have it.

I like the idea but buffalo needs a dependable center coming back and domi really hasn't been that. korpisalo and werenski would really shore up the back side, give dahlin a chance to grow and the rest of the team some dependability to work from.
Domi, korp, werenski and 1st is probably asking to much but its probably what it would take.
