Dermott is a solid 2way ld that would be in your top 4. Boston shouldn’t trade debrusk with his value this low though.

Ekholm is an elite 2-way Dman so yeah obviously he is better than Dermott but Dermott is better than Lauzon and Zboril. Lindhom is actually decent comparaison for where Dermott is at right now

Not even close. Ekholm and Lindholm are about the same. And Dernott is about the same as Zboril and Lauzon.

Ekholm and Lindholm are 1 or 2s. Zboril Lauzon Dermott are. 4 or 5s.

Lindholm is not close to Ekholm sorry and Dermott is a 2nd pairing guy yes but i would argue that his talent is wasted on the Leafs third pair. I'm not saying he should play above Muzzin or Reilly but the Leafs Left side is great and Dermott who is a 3-4th dman at this point would help a team with a weak Left side.

As i said Dermott is a 4/5. Low 2nd pair high 3rd pair depending on team depth. Same as Lauzon and Zboril and Grizz and Urho eventually. No need. They need someone to play above the guys. Not an equal.
